Alternative therapies

Some mesothelioma patients have tried complementary or alternative therapies in conjunction with the other treatments described.

You need to consult your oncologist or respiratory physician in case the alternative treatments reduce the effectiveness of other treatment you are having.

Most of these treatments aim to repair your immune system. They will not claim to cure mesothelioma.
